Nokia Asia Pacific told Windows Phone 7.8 releases in a matter of days  Lumia Get It First!!!

Windows Phone 7.8 releases for Lumia

From, Nokia and Microsoft developer conference in Singapore. There is a very interesting news about old gen Windows Phone users. We are going to have an Windows Phone 7.8 update.

WMP told that Nokia Asia Pacific head developer revealed the secret, Windows Phone 7.8 is RTM. And this Windows Phone update will available soon, 'in a matter of days to weeks'.

There is a bad news about IE 10 that Windows Phone 7.8 will not support due to hardware support. IE 10 and IE 9 was built in different architecture hardware.

And this is the Nokia and Microsoft conference. So I think Nokia devices will receive update first. The Windows Phone 7.8 update will be exclusive for Lumia for a while and then other manufacturer will get it.

Too bad that Windows Phone 7.8 will not have IE 10. But I think Microsoft will launch some IE update.

Anyone use Lumia or other Windows Phone 7.5 device??
Please, tell what do you feel about this update??

  1. This is a ridiculous move from Microsoft. I have a Lumia 800 that is a fantastic piece of kit but the lack of support from Microsoft makes me want to go back to Android or Blackberry phones ASAP... Ahhh, and things like the non integration of Skype makes me mad and madder by knowing Microsoft to be its owner. Microsoft, shame on you and goodbye.

  2. Microsoft did a bad thing to First gen Lumia and Windows Phone 7.5. And Windows Phone 8 is a big bet from Microsoft. If it's crashed, Microsoft should say bye to smartphone and tablet war.
